How to Wash T-Shirt Safely

Washing clothes is an activity which we often do almost every day. We have to do it because if we don’t wash our clothes, they will become stinky and moldy. Of course we don’t want it, especially for T-Shirts. We often wear T-Shirts when we go out to gather with our friends or attend an informal event. Some of my friends -and me too- sometimes also use T-Shirts in a lecture. For boys, T-Shirt shows their identity because T-Shirt has many various kinds in accordance with trend style which is developing among teenagers. But unfortunately many of my friends don’t know how to wash T-Shirt safely. We often found our T-Shirt become more stretchy after we wash it for many times. That is annoying and here I will give you some information how to wash T-Shirt safely and make it keep comfortable to wear.
First, don’t spray too much perfume to your shirt. Some perfumes which contain alcohol can leave white or yellow spot after we wash it because detergent can attached in your shirt when it reacted to alcohol. And also keep it away from alcoholic drinks.
Second, you must pay attention to your shirt’s silk-screening type. The first type is for plastisol ink silk-screening. This type usually has coarse texture. Don’t brush it in that area if there is any spot of dirt there just rub it softly because plastisol ink silk-screening is not sustainable, quickly broken if it not treated properly. Mostly underground shirts use this kind of silk-screening. And I suggest you to never wash it in laundry or washing machine because the rotation in washing machine can broke the silk-screening. (Silk-screening=sablon).

The second type is sticker. We can found this type of silk-screening in many shirts. For this type you should pay attention to it’s silk-screening too. Like plastisol ink, sticker-type will quickly getting loose if we don’t treated it properly. So be careful when you rub it and never brush it in silk-screening area.

And the third type is ordinary silk-screening that usually used on commonly shirts. For this type you don’t have to worry about how the safe way to wash it because it is long-lasting and not quickly broken. But be careful, don’t too often use it under sun rays because it will faded.

The third step to wash your shirts safely is squeezing and hanging. Squeeze it until quite dry and not too many waters left there if you don’t want your shirt stretched. But if you want to stretch it, better for you to left a few waters there to help it stretched when it dry, you can do this action for the shirts which is so tight to wear. And for hanging, never hang your shirts when you just done to squeeze it. Why? Because when it still wet and you hang it, the neck-area will stretched. You can hang it when it is not too wet but haven’t dried yet. And you should just lay it on clothesline or drying tools but never dry it on wire or un-stainless iron because it will make the wire/iron corroded and left corrode spot on your shirt.

Lay your shirt onto drying tools to avoid corrode spot and keep it’s neck-are not stretched
